Wheatley's fitness saw them win in extra time, with 2 goals from Chris Kent and one from John Bodel while Kieron Ellis pulled one back for Fairview.
Meanwhile the Black Swan played Blackbird Rovers at Cowley Marsh, the game was a tight affair between the leagues top two and seemed to be heading to extra time. But with time running out Arron Williams caught Chris Haines off his line and secured Rovers passage into the next round.
