This weeks match reports from OCFA

A great result today, that see's RHFC take over at the top of the league maintaining a 100% record, whilst toppling previous leaders Chalgrove.
A hard fought win against an organized and strong opposition was watched by a great turn out from both sets of fans. Rose Hill led 1-0 in a close first half with a Colin Ryan Strike. The second half started well for Chalgrove and saw them equalize gaining a very dubious penalty decision. Terry Rose then hit a absolute wonder strike that broke the net!!!! to make it 2-1 to Hill. Rose Hill then completely took over and further goals from Jamie McMahon and a brilliant solo from Colin Ryan to get his brace saw Rose Hill race to a 4-1 lead. Chalgrove got a consolation when in the dying minutes from little Stuart Timmony put the ball in his own net.

Community Allstars 3 - 5 Golden Ball

Allstars opened the scoring after 15minutes when Scott Newbury slid onto the end of through ball past the on rushing keeper. Golden equalised with a header from Steven Myatt and then soon after took the lead with a long range speculative effort from Leon Blackmore-Smith. Allstars grabbed an equaliser before the break with a tap in from Scott Murphy.
After the half time, Golden Ball came out stronger and scored 3 goals to kill off the game to the Allstars 1 in reply. The Golden Ball goalscorers were scored by David Preece, Kevin Walters and Leon Blackmore-Smith who grabbed his second, as did Scott Newbury for the Allstars. The game finished 3-5 and the referee was Gorden Berry who had a good game.
