Possibly we need to think of what might have been – hitting the bar etc – but there were positives to be taken from the match. Firstly, some absolutely amazing saves from Oscar. The way he narrowed the angle when their striker was clean through at the end was as amazing a piece of skill as any overhead kick or diving header to score. Secondly, well done Ryan - another excellent performance and you are fitting into the team very nicely indeed. Max ST coped manfully with their flyer up front, and there was more evidence of our passing game continuing to be an asset when our heads are clear. We just need to get a few more strikes on goal, and a bit more play down the wings and hopefully the latter will help the former.
