The league manager is called Jon-Paul and you can contact him anytime for any league related issues or queries on the following number: 07828544322.

League Rules & Information

To confirm your place in the league you must pay a £50 registration fee.

Match fee's are £35 per game per team. You must pay the league official or your referee if no league official is present, before your game each week. Referees are instructed to not kick games off until match fee's have been received off both teams. You must pay the full amount each week.

You play each team twice or three times over the course of the league season based on how many teams are in the league.

Fixtures are sent out by text message approximately 4 days before your game each week. You must text back to confirm you will be attending, a simple 'we will be there' response will suffice. If you require a specific kick off time one week or can only play your games at certain times permanently then please let us know.

You are allowed to postpone 2 matches per season only. If you would like to postpone a game you must give us minimum 24 hours notice. If you fail to give us the minimum notice and fail to attend your game then your opposition will be awarded a 'walkover win' and you will be fined £70 which covers the league's lost income. If you postpone a game you must play 2 games the following week to catch up.

Cash prizes are awarded to league winners & runners up at the end of the season. At the start of the season you will be notified of the cash prize amounts for each category. Please note your team must be upto date with match fee payments and your team must fulfil all of its fixtures for you to be eligible to win cash prizes. If any money is owed to the league through being behind with match fee payments or from incurring fines then this will be deducted from prize money winnings (this includes golden boot, most motm's and goal of the month/season).

3 cup competitions run alongside the league. 2 cup competitions are knockout cups against teams in your chosen league and there is also a 'Champions League' style cup against teams from our other leagues (games in this cup are arranged at your convenience). Cash prizes are awarded to winners and runners up in all 3 cup competitions.

You can use as many players as you like throughout the season in your squad.

You are expected to complete a full league season. If you drop out mid way through the season then you are liable for the match fees for all of your remaining games. Sign-up offers are also only awarded based on the understanding you complete a full league season. If you fail to complete the full season then the offer will be rescinded and you have to repay it back.

If a team folds and drops out of the league then their results shall be expunged if they have played less than 75% of their allotted games. If they have played more than 75% of their allotted games then their results remain and walkover wins will be given to the opponents of all remaining games.

Game Rules

Official Football Association rules apply to all games, except for the following instances:

Each game is 40 minutes long. All games are played 'straight through' so there is no half time. If you are more than 5 minutes late to your game then you will incur a £10 fine. If you are more than 10 minutes late then your opposition will be awarded a 'walkover win' and you will incur a £70 fine which covers the league's lost income.

6 a side: You can only have maximum 6 players on the pitch at any one time including your goalkeeper. Rolling substitutes are permitted however you can only make a substitution when the ball is 'dead' and you must also ask the referee to make a substitution.

No offside rule.

Outfield players are allowed inside and may touch the ball inside penalty areas, including to score goals. Goal keepers are allowed out of penalty areas but are only allowed to handle the ball inside their own penalty area.

No slide tackles. Players are however allowed to slide to clear/block/keep the ball in play as long as they are not deemed to be endangering an opponent which is adjudged by the referee. If a defending player makes a slide tackle inside the penalty area (regardless of if the ball is won) then a penalty will be awarded to the opposition.

Players kick the ball back into play from sidelines instead of 'throw-ins'. 'Kick-ins' from the sidelines are 'indirect'. Goal kicks and corner kicks are 'direct'.

Opposing players must be a minimum of 5 yards away from the kick taker for free kicks/corner kicks/goal kicks/'kick ins' from the sideline.

Back pass rule: If a goalkeeper touches the ball with his hands after it has been deliberately kicked to him by a team mate then a penalty rather than an indirect free kick will be awarded. This rule also applies if the ball has been deliberately kicked back to him from a 'kick-in' from the sideline.

If a stray ball from another pitch disrupts play then the game is stopped and an indirect free kick will be awarded to the team in possession.

A 5 minute 'sin bin' is used instead of yellow cards for all yellow card worthy offences. Red cards will be given for any red card worthy offences. If a player is given a red card he will also be suspended for 3 games. Red cards carry a £30 fine.

All teams must wear the same coloured tops and all players must wear shin pads.

Metal stood boots are not permitted. Players may be removed from games if they are found to be wearing these.

Facility Rules

All our facilities operate a strict no smoking policy anywhere on the facility including the car park. If you are caught smoking on the facility then you will be asked to leave and will be unable to play in your game. This obviously includes the smoking of and/or use of any illicit substances. Please respect the facilities including the changing rooms. Please note that changing rooms will not be locked and we will not be held responsible for any lost possessions.

Please do not enter the pitch to warm up or for any other reason until it is your teams turn to play as it can cause disruption to games already taking place and to other users of the facility. Please wait for your game behind the fences until it is your turn to play.

We share the facility with a number of junior football teams so please do not use foul or abusive language before or during your game.
