SJFL season 2022-23 competition affiliated to Shropshire FA: U7-U12 Development Football: U13-U16 Open Competition Football: U10-U16 Charity Cup Competitions: U13-U16 League Cup Competition: U7-U10 Futsal
The league’s match programme will be prioritised from September until end of November. The charity cup competitions will start December with Group Stage fixtures for U10 - U16s. The League Cup (U13-U16 will start knock out rounds in early 2023. A Futsal programme for U7 - U10s is scheduled for winter 2023 January - March. SJFL 2022-23: Charity Cup and Charity Consolation Cup (U10 - U16) will be played in group stage games then quarter and semi-finals (subject to team entries in groups). League Cup (U13 - U16) is a knock-out competition by rounds to the cup finals.

The FA has been granted approval from the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to introduce a new trial to remove deliberate heading in football matches across U12 level and below in England from the start of the 2022-23 season.

SJFL Futsal 2022 will start on Sunday 16th January at Shrewsbury Sports Village and run to 20th March 2022 (subject to COVID regulations).
