2021/2022 SPRING CUP

The Spring Cup draw is here, with the 20 league teams learning their fate for the group stages of the Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored competition.

In front of a live audience of Management Committee members, the draw was made at last night’s November committee meeting at Wesley Road Club, Trowbridge.

Chair, Sam Gooding, Vice Chair, Alan Thompson and League President, Ian Hibbard were reasonable for drawing the teams and Colin Kennerson drawing the respective groups that each team were placed in.

Current Division One leaders Hilperton United face a tough test against Second division Potterne in Group A, while top flight side The Duke have been draw against stablemates Marshfield and Heytesbury in a tough Group B.

Westbury United Reserves will be favourites to progress from Group C – while near neighbours Semington Magpies and Division Two champions, Seend United face off in Group D.
