Double injury blow for Robin

The Robin Hood have been dealt severe injury blows ahead of the local derby versus The Red Hackle with Influential Captain Ian Hudson ruled out for a number of weeks after sustaining a severe Calf muscle tear and haematoma (Internal bleeding and severe bruising) from a horrendous tackle against Boldon Wheatsheaf which left a gapping hole from a stud. We all wish Ian a speedy recovery and hopefully he maybe back for the return fixture against Boldon Wheatsheaf in three weeks time.

Stevie Stephenson too is now struggling to be fit in time for the Derby game versus the Hackle with a back injury he received in the bruising encounter with Boldon Wheatsheaf and could be out for up to two or three weeks.

Manager Steve Dean will be hoping that no more players report back with injuries, he will be hoping at least Jonathon Matthews will be available for selection this weekend as that due to work commitments he was not available for the last game.
