NAPIT Sunday League Report

Hepthorne Lane’s tremendous start to the season continued on Sunday with a superb 9-0 humbling of Wingerworth BMB which saw them hold on to top spot in NAPIT ONE. Josh Burrow hit a treble in the win to move on to twelve goals for the season. Callum Lytham also scored three goals, Dave Chambers two, Gary Chambers one as BMB were completely out played. Hasland Devonshire are in second place and they beat Tibshelf Town by two goals to one, Lee Clay scoring both goals. Two Jez Mitchell goals earned Britannia FC a two goals to nil win at Creswell Black Diamond whilst Hopflower Utd and Doe Lee drew 2-2.

In TWO FC UTD of Bolsover moved above New Whitt, who's game was postponed, to the top the table after an excellent 8-1 win at Dronfield Woodhouse. Clowne Wanderers Reserves entertained Matlock Town Wanderers and duly beat them 4-1, Robson scoring twice in the win. West End Killamarsh took on Brampton Rovers JMA and shaded a tight game with an odd goal in five win, Unwin scoring two, McCall one.

Jake Hackford scored twice for Crown Killamarsh who won 3-0 at New All Inn in FOUR, Tom Robinson once in a victory that puts them in pole position in the division.


In SIX twelve months earlier Evolution were on the wrong end of an 8-1 thrashing at Furnace Hill Hurricanes, one in a series of heavy defeats. However this time around they are a far superior side to then and a 10-3 win over Lockoford Inn moved them up to fourth in the table. Harry Oakley starred in the victory scoring five of the ten goals, Jack Warwick and Liam Codling both scored twice, Alex Fleming once. Hasland Community Eagles top the division following a close 3-2 win at Castle Arms. Palterton Sporting Club shared four goals and the points with Furnace Hill Hurricanes whilst Woodthorpe Wanderers lost 3-1 at home to Astwith All Stars.

In SEVEN Darley Dale Red Star’s 6-3 win over Ye Olde Nags Head moved them four points clear at the top. Slater scored twice in the win McClean, Raybould, Shaffie and Parsley once. Markham Arms who drew 3-3 with Spartans 2nd are second. Reece Nuttall scored a hat trick Conner Yates once as Brimington Club hammered Dronfield Town 8-2. M Slinn scored twice as Anchor Clowne beat Newbold CFT by four goals to two and Renishaw Rangers TFC won 3-2 at Britannia Tupton.

In the CHATSWORTH CUP there were some impressive performance no more so than Renishaw Rangers 7-0 humbling of AFC Castle in which Robinson hit a hat trick, Pritchard scored twice. Ark Tavern also hit seven against Club FC, J Brown registering a treble. Butchers Arms beat Brimington Utd 5-1, Britannia Rose beat Hady Villa by the same score, Brampton Oaks Sports won 5-1 at Glapwell Gladiators, Newbold beat Gate Inn North Wingfield 4-2, whilst Duckmanton Community, Hollingwood Athletic, Oaks FC, Harleys Scarlets and Red Lion Wittington Moor all progressed to the next round.
