FC Britannia have made a stuttering start to their defence of the NAPIT title but in the Derbyshire Senior Sunday Cup they made safe passage to round two with an impressive 3-0 win at Golden Pheasant, Chris Bettney, Lee Featherstone and Billy Page the match winners. Hasland Devonshire also went through on the back of a 3-0 win over Field Lane, Lee Clay scoring twice, Charlie Daws once. An all NAPIT ONE clash saw Creswell Black Diamond take on AFC Bolsover and although they play in the same league division they were worlds apart as Black Diamond won 9-0. Whitehead and Claxton both scored hat tricks whilst Machin scored twice Newbold once. In another all ONE clash Tibshelf Town and Wingerworth BMB were deadlocked at 2-2 after ninety minutes but Town eventually came out on top 4-2 after extra time. There was no fairy tail outcome as ONE side Doe Lea beat bottom of TWO Crispin Casuals, Doe Lea winning 5-0, former Glapwell Gladiator Dave Canning coming off the bench to score twice in the win. New Whitt took on West End Killamarsh and easily beat them 6-0, Luke Nunn scoring twice, Brad Nunn, Jack Yeomans, Curt Birchall and Dan Lock the scorers.

TWO
Dronfield Woodhouse took on Dronfield Victoria in a local derby and it was Victoria who came out on top, just, edging to victory by three goals to two, the winning goals coming from Josh Adams, Chris Gambles and Oli Wood. In an even tighter affair, Brampton Rovers JMA and opponents Clowne Wanderes had to settle for a point as it finished 3-3.

THREE
Hollingwood Athletic went top of THREE after they won 5-2 at Ark Tavern. AFC North Wingfield are still looking for their first win of the season as they drew for the third time in five starts. The third of those draws came against Hady Villa with James Senior and Matt Towndrow scoring their two goals whilst Steve McMahon and Dean Isaccs did likewise for Villa. Chris Cave and Tom McTighe scored two goals apiece for Red Lion Whitt Moor who won 5-2 at Renisham MW whilst Brimington Utd were beaten 2-1 by Oaks FC.

FOUR
Duckmanton Community and Old Whittington MW took to the field in FOUR winless and after a seven goal thriller the latter finished on the right end of a 4-3 score line with Scott Wilson scoring two of the winning goals. Alex Harrison and Elliott Crowder's goals saw Brampton Rovers beat Brimington Utd Shoes 2-1 to become the third team in the division to have accrued nine points to date. Something of a rarity in Sunday League football at Club FC where the hosts and opponents Spartans played out a goal-less draw whilst Brampton Oak Sports beat AFC Castle by three goals to nil.

FIVE
Barlow Kingston Rovers conceded nine goals in a game for the second time in five starts as Gardeners Clay Cross trounced them 9-3. Steve Rogers and Micky Saville caused them most problems with Rogers scoring four and Saville two goals. Eight goals were shared between Bolsover Town and Grassmoor Sports as were the points as they drew 4-4. On target for Town were Nathan Hughes, Josh Nicholls, Scott Patterson and Kyle Perrins, Tom Pickering, Ash Walters, Andy Woolvern and Roger Brailsford for Sports. Whilst the goals rained at Gardeners and Bolsover Town there was a comparative drought at Dronfield Wanderers where a goal from Bannister was enough to earn visitors Harleys Scarlets the three pints on offer.

SIX
Whitecotes Wanderers and Furnace Hill Hurricanes both won 5-2 and are in first and second places respectively as a result. Wanderers victory came at the expense of Palterton Sporting Club, Lee Wright and Craig Megyesi scoring two goals each. Hurricanes beat Evolution, Neil Hollingworth registering a fine treble. The game between Astwith All Stars and Hasland WMC was by and large a drab affair with the one highlight a superbly struck free kick from Astwith's Justin Deakin which won the game. Woodthorpe Wanderers had not lost and Hasland Community Eagles won before they met on Sunday but the Eagles came out on top, winning by four goals to three, Darren Parkinson scoring two of the winning goals. AFC Steelmelters took on Castle Arms and lost 3-2.

SEVEN
Darley Dale Red Star are five points clear at the top after they won their fifth game in five starts Ryan Parsley, Danny Slater and substitute Kieran Clark scored in a 3-0 win at New Bolsover Social Club. Markham Arms are second after they beat Dronfield Town 6-3, Daniel Dodds in great goal scoring form netting five times. Anchor Clowne registered their first win in the league and it was an emphatic one too as they hammered Britannia Tupton 8-2. In the goals for Anchor were Dale Gosney who registered a hat trick, Ben Thorpe who scored twice, Ryan Hankinson and Paul Greasley and Tony Child. Brimington Club made it three wins from four games as they beat Spartans 2nd 4-1. Newbold Football in the Community Training were also winners, beating Renishaw Rangers TFC 4-0 Ant Brown scoring two of the goals.
