The race for the NAPIT FOUR title was blown wide open as leaders AFC North Wingfield's final fixture ended in disaster as Woodthorpe Inn thrashed them by seven goals to nil. A Matt Walsh treble plus two from Ant Lynam, one from Ben Goodwin and one from J Chapman leaves four teams in with a great chance of finishing top. Wingfield have 40 points, Dronfield Miners, 39 with 2 to play, however Steelmelters and Woodthorpe look to have the best chance, both sides still having five games to play with 38 and 37 points respectively.

In NAPIT TWO New Whitt needed just one goal to beat Grassmoor Sports Reserves and what a vital one it was as the victory moves New Whitt to within one point of leaders Tibshelf Town. Silver Birches faced Ashover Vale in the division's other game and beat them 5-2.

AFC Bolsover gave their chances of finishing second in THREE a boost with a 3-0 win at Creswell Black Diamond, moving them above Dronfield Woodhouse who drop to third. Beechers Brook's final game of the season took them to Inkersall to play Hopflower whom they duly beat 2-1.

Clowne Wanderers Reserves may have already won FIVE but the wins keep coming, the latest a 4-3 victory over Palterton a Sporting Club by a 4-3 margin.

In SEVEN Dronfield Miners are currently rock bottom but they put in a spirited display against fellow strugglers Boot and Shoe which earned them a 1-1 draw. Clay Cross Miners and Diners shared the spoils with Glapwell Gladiators in a game that ended level at 3-3.
