Plymouth Argyle win the National final

Plymouth Argyle became the first team to succesfully defend their National title. The finals were played at the David Beckham Academy Centre in London. Argyle kicked off the tournament with a 1-0 victory against Birmingham City. Next up for Argyle were Stoke City. Again the greens were in top form as they swept aside the Stoke City challenge by 2 goals to nil. They made sure of a place in the semi-finals with a 3-1 victory over Millwall. The semi-final was against Everton. In a very tight game neither side could break the deadlock. Extra time was the same. SO it went to penalties. Argyle won the shoot out 3-2 to book a place in the final againt M.k Dons. There was no stopping the green army as they swept aside the M.k Dons by a 2-0 scoreline to list the trophy again.
