Coronavirus COVID-19

Following a meeting via webinar on Monday 20th April, the Committee would like to make the following statement.
Following on from the statement received from the Football Association on March 26th and in consultation with the County Football Association and our parent League, The Leicestershire Senior League, we can confirm that we will abide by these instructions and all results will be expunged, however, all disciplinary matters, either team or players stand and must be resolved.
Further to this announcement, we can confirm that we as a Committee have agreed to provide a 50% reduction in League entry fees for Season 2020 / 2021 for ALL teams and to extend the League entry application until 31st May 2020.
The Committee have also agreed that registrations and transfers shall continue to be FREE.
The Committee would like to thank all clubs, volunteers, club staff and referees for their efforts in the 2019 / 2020 season that ultimately we were unable to complete due to the unfavourable weather conditions preceding the present COVID-19 virus situation.
In what is an unprecedented situation, the Committee would like to thank all clubs for their understanding as to the above decision being made.
We have been instructed by the Football Association and the County Football Association to advise all clubs not to play any matches including friendlies and training until advised by the FA or County FA.
