FA YOUTH CUP 3rd ROUND QUALIFYING

The Leagues’ only representative left in the Competition and looking for a place in the Competition Proper when the Football League sides enter were Lutterworth Athletic. They were drawn at home against Halesowen Town and despite taking the lead through Josh Limbrick, they were eventually knocked out 2-1.

NORTHERN DIVISION

Ashby Ivanhoe continue to top the table after a 2-1 home victory over Anstey Nomads. George Rushton and Kerr Horn for Ashby with the Nomads’ reply coming from Kieron Patel. Barrow Town remain in 2nd spot, on goal difference, after recording a 5-3 home win over Leicester Nirvana. Louis Starkey (2), George Torr, Roman Strong and Tyrell Brady for the Riversiders with Joel Anthony, Samuel Patio and Ashley Anthony replying for Nirvana.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

With all the top sides not being in action, GNG go top after a lone James Bessy strike against Aylestone Park Youth. Blaby & Whetstone Athletic defeated Birstall United 4-1 on their own patch with Josh Seaton and Alex Rhoades both hitting braces. James Pearce replying for Birstall. Jesse Orton (2), Cam Atkinson and Bradley Hughes were all on target as Saffron Dynamo defeated Lutterworth Athletic Academy 4-1. Josh Smith with the Academys’ goal. In the Aylestone Park derby, ‘94 defeated Boys 5-0 with Marshall Keenan (2), Josh MacCameron, Oliver Howard and Callum Riley all bagging in the first half.
