Premier Division...Division 1...Division 2...

The big game between the top two in the Premier Division saw a very open one, with eight goals shared. Joel Mason (two), Rich Hall and Adam Mackenzie were on target for Olympic Nirankari against Billet in the 4-4 draw. Russell Cox (two), Ryan Skeggs and Ross Gormer replied.

Broadhall started brightly with Scott Durham rounding the ‘keeper to hit the post, but Leslie Chappell happily stroked the rebound home to start the goal frenzy against Marquis of Lorne before the same player made it two before the break as he celebrated his birthday week. Durham provided again for the big man’s hat-trick strike. John Johnston came on as a sub to make it four with a cool finish before he then turned provider, heading the ball into Chappell’s path for his fourth of the game with a 20 yard volley.

Dun Cow beat King Pin United in a ten-goal bonanza. Adam Furness (two), Ryan Butler, Bobby Dance, Ross Kane, Scott Mahoney and Ian Thorne were on the mark for Cow. Pin replied through Adam Bannister, Carl Lingwood and Bradley Vooght.

Charlie Barnett (two), James Tyrer and Paul Ricketts were on target as St Nicholas beat Real Stevenage 4-2, the latter scored through Sam Bickerstaff and Chris McCarthy.

Division One leaders MBDA coasted to victory, but MKS Carpentry put up a dogged display. MKS played the better football for the first twenty minutes, whilst their back three coped with any threat. Then, they were hit by the leaders when a ball through to Ross Walker saw him beat his man to the ball by nut-megging him, before rolling it past the ‘keeper. The second came via a free-kick from Louis Hare, which was well saved, before Kyle Watson swung the ball back for Ash Kersey to react quickly and side-foot in at the back post. Kersey then hit the bar, but the third came when Alan Kenney’s cross sailed straight in the far post. MKS talked about coming out firing the second-half and that a goal would give them a chance, but all that was ruined with two quick-fire goals as the scoring was complete at 5-0 just five minutes into the second-half. Kersey firstly latched onto Gav Bowler’s pass and slotted home, before completing his hat-trick from Kenney’s cross. The rest of the game was very open with both sides creating chances.

AJS Tyres Broadhall gained revenge for last month's 7-0 thrashing by Chequers by inflicting a 10-2 demolition on the same opponents. The first came after ten minutes as Phil Stevens received Joe Lee's header and tucked it away. Minutes later, Brad Westall's cross was turned in to his own net by a defender before Chequers got back into the game after twenty minutes as Matt Dimond inexplicably handled in the area to concede a penalty, which Carl Thompson converted. A vital third came shortly minutes before half-time as Joe Lee played in Michael Carter, who calmly rounded the ‘keeper for 3-1. The game was clinched just past the hour by two Lee goals; the first a powerful header from Rob Stevenson's cross and the next a shot across the ‘keeper from Michael Emmings' pass. A minute later, a quick Emmings free-kick broke to Carter for his second and before Matt Jackson set up Emmings for number seven. Chequers grabbed a consolation goal through Ben Collins, but AJS were not finished as Carter set up Emmings for another and Andy Lee, who had been superb throughout, latched on to a back pass to score before collecting Emmings' though-ball to fire in number ten to cap a great day for the young side. It was a real team performance, with ‘keeper Perry Thompson pulling off three fine saves and there was a man of the match performance from captain Westall, who largely kept Thompson and Steve Teale quiet. They move up to fourth.

Coopers started the game brightly and took the lead on twenty minutes when Dave Brown struck a twenty-five yard looping shot into the top corner. They doubled their lead ten minutes later when a Craig Vincent corner was met by a Ben Weldon header. They were under the cosh for most of the second-half as they looked for their first points of the season and Bedwell Rangers’ good work was rewarded ten minutes in through Ross Murphy. With only five minutes left, they levelled the game at 2-2 through Luke Smith.

Breachwood Lions got off a great start with an early goal from Richard Taaffe. A sour note saw Ollie Mason go down awkwardly, breaking his thumb and dislocating his wrist in the process. Coach and Horses hit the post before then levelling the scores through Lewis Littlechild before half-time. Ali Collins restored the lead after a great show of strength from a cut back from Sam Canham, but Coach levelled again on the counter attack through David Stevens. With ten minutes to go, the winner came. Collins laid the ball back for Canham to strike the ball sweetly home from just outside the box for his first goal for the club as Lions won 3-2 for their first win of the season.

Mark Bridge, Ean Browne, Fabian Mullings and an own goal saw Pin Green maintain their 100 percent record in Division Two with a 4-1 win over Roebuck Gate. Lewis Collins scored a consolation.

Joe Marshall-Zeal grabbed the only goal as Old Barclavians won 1-0 at Benington.

Collins Nwanazia his five as Crooked Billet Boro won a goal-fest against Hartham Press. Steve Bush (two) and James Marshall also netted in the 9-6 win. Greg Bradbury (two), Jamie Burbury, Barrie Curtin, Dan Curtin and James Khakpour-Smith were on target for Hartham, who also put through their own net.
