Anglian Combination lost 3-2 to Cambridgeshire County League at FDC, on 24th Sep 2019, in the FA Inter League Cup.

The match was closely contested and our players performed well, creating several good chances. The weather conditions were dreadful, with torrential rain at times. Tiago Pascoal scored for us in first half but we were 2-1 down at half time. In second half, they got a third goal with a penalty but James Bemrose got our second goal to leave a close finish but unfortunately we lost 3-2. Well done to all the players in the squad, manager Terry Beane, physio Colin Mallett and all those who supported them. Good luck to Cambridge in the next round.
