The new guidance for heading extends from grassroots level through to the professional game
AGE GROUP HEADING FREQUENCY
U7, U8, U9, U10, U11
Heading should not be introduced in training sessions at this age
U14,U15, U16, U18
Heading remains a low priority 1 session per week & max 10 headers

Now the UK Government has given approval for outdoor grassroots football to restart, U12-U18 will begin on 13th Sept & U7-U11 on 20th Sept
