Summary of the action from Week 13 of the LIGA 11-A-Side Leagues

Week 13 of the LIGA action saw the league chamipions of the season decided, and the action hot up the remaining two leagues.

In LIGA A, with both Mathematic Bilbao and BSOC All Stars not playing a game due to a Bye Week, two matches were played. In the first ACS FC met Brack City knowing that only a win against ateam they had lost 4-3 to back in Week 1 would give them any chance of staying the title hunt. In a hugely entertaining game peppered with high quality goals ACS ran out 6-3 winners to move themselves into the top half of the table. However, their impressive result was still not enough as Quantity Surville extended their winning streak to nine games with a huge 4-0 over BSOC Bulldogz which ultimately saw them secure the title with a game to go.

In LIGA B FC Futsal faltered in their title challenge, losing 4-1 to Table Tennis Society who have recovered from their Winter slump and have now gone three games unbeaten. However, Futsal were fortunate in that Kings Of Leon Osman also faltered, conceding two early goals and then a dramatic late equalizer as they drew 4-4 with Average Joe's. In the final LIGA B game of the day Red Stripe Belgrade bounced back from their narrow 5-4 defeat last week to pick up a point in a 2-2 draw with Bayer Lexerkusen.

In LIGA C 5-1 scorelines were the order of the day as History Society put an end to the title ambitions of Bayer Neverloosen, whilst AFC Botton kept their own chances of finishing in first wide open with the same scoreline against Dynamo Chicken Kiev.

Next weeks games games promise to be entertaining in all three leagues. Despite LIGA A having already being wrapped up, ACS will be looking to secure second place against Mathematic Bilbao, whilst the first BSOC derby of the season will be played between the All Stars and the Bulldogz. In LIGA B, the top two meet as Kings Of Leon Osman face FC Futsal, with the former knowing a win will secure them the title. Table Tennis play Bayer Lexerkusen, knowing that KOLO failing to win will still give them a surprise chance at the title should they beat Bayer Lexerkusen, whilst Red Stripe Belgrade meet Average Joe's. LIGA C also sees a title showdown, this time between History Society and AFC Botton, whilst Bayer Neverloosen face an ever improving Dynamo Chicken Kiev.
