Summary of the action from Week 11 of the LIGA 11-A-Side Leagues

Week 11 had been intended to see the return to eight matches a week in the LIGA. However, teams being unable to fulfill their fixtures saw the number of matches being played reduced to six, all being played at Victoria Embankment.

LIGA A did manage to see all three fixtures played. Quantity Surville strengthened their position at the top of the table with a 6-1 victory over Maltings FC. They were further helped by BSOC Bulldogz being held to a 2-2 draw by Mathematic Bilbao, with Maths scoring the equalizer in the last minute of the game to record their third straight draw and preserve their unbeaten record in the 2012/13 season. In the last LIGA A game Brack City picked up their first win of the season in a narrow 2-1 victory over BSOC All Stars.

In LIGA B Kings Of Leon Osman were the big beneficiaries of the day. They first picked up three points without playing after Red Stripe Belgrade declared themselves unavailable for the match day, then picked up their first competitive win since Week 5 following their 5-3 victory in their rearranged match with Bayer Lexerkusen. In LIGA B's other match of Week 11 Table Tennis Society picked up their first points of 2013 and their first win in six games in a 5-2 victory over Average Joe's.

LIGA C also saw a game not being contested after Dynamo Chicken Kiev were unable to field a team, resulting in Bayer Neverloosen picking up three points. The game that was played saw a closely fought battle between AFC Botton and History Society end with Botton coming out on the right side of a 3-2 scoreline.

Additionally LIGA A has unfortunately seen the withdrawal from the league of Maltings FC following yesterdays game. Maltings have been struggling for players over the past weeks and were only able to field a team against Quantity Surville after acquiring players just prior to kick-off. All games that were scheduled to be played against Maltings over the coming weeks have been awarded to their opponents as a 3-0 win as standard.

Following this LIGA now sees Quantity Surville sit two points clear of BSOC Bulldogz and Brack City, with Mathematic Bilbao a point behind and BSOC All Stars in 5th. ACS FC are currently 6th, but have two games in hand on three of the teams above them.

In LIGA B FC Futsal remain top of the league despite not playing this week and are the only team in all three leagues with a 100% record in 2013. Kings Of Leon Osman's 6 point haul have moved them up to 2nd, followed by Average Joe's, Red Stripe Belgrade and Table Tennis Society, who are all separated by a point, with Bayer Lexerkusen propping up the table without a point so far, though wins in their games in hand could move them up to third.

LIGA C is is most closely contested of the three leagues, with AFC Botton top, but only by a point from History Society Football Club and Bayer Neverloosen.

Next weeks fixtures see Mathematic Bilbao looking to keep their unbeaten record and close the gap at the top of LIGA A when they play Quantity Surville, whilst ACS have the chance to make themselves a huge threat over the coming weeks when they play BSOC All Stars. In LIGA B Kings Of Leon Osman and FC Futsal meet in a top of the table clash, Table Tennis Society will be looking to continue their winning form against Bayer Lexerkusen, whilst Red Stripe Belgrade face Average Joe's. LIGA C only sees one game being played, as History Society and Dynamo Chicken Kiev catch up in their game in hand, with Dynamo having the chance to pick up their first point of the season and History looking to move back to the top of the league.
