Week 3 Team OF The Week ASE FC

Summary of the action from Week 3 of NTU's Bundesliga 5-A-Side competition

Week 3 of the Bundesliga saw a massive 50 goals scored across the eight games played on 27/10/13, with only games having less than 5 goals scored in them.

Two of the lower scoring games took place in the first hour of the fixture round, as Ay Bird FC took a narrow 2-1 victory against Exeter Gently and Harpin's Boys put the disappointment of their Week 2 drubbing at the hand of 5 Elite firmly behind them as they ran out 4-0 winners against Real Sosobad.

It was 5 Elite who really started to get the goals flowing as they won 5-2 against Cheers United to maintain their 100% record, whilst Inter de Nott kept their own winning streak intact with a 4-1 win over CYPS.

NTU ISOC were involved in their second 3-3 thriller in three weeks as they drew with Is Your Motherwell, before CC Cosmos bounced back from their 8-5 defeat by ISOC last week to run out 4-0 victors over The Chaps.

The last two games of the day saw 21 goals scored, but in very different circumstances. In the most one sided ASE FC put away fourteen unanswered gaols against E Block, whilst the final match of the day was one of the most closely contested as LEX FC edged out Always On Top 4-3.

Week 3's Team of the Week is ASE FC who take the award for the second week running thanks again to scoring a high number of goals whilst keeping a clean sheet.

Week 4 sees some important games taking place throughout the league. All four of the teams who competed (and finished in the top five) last year will be looking to push out of the bottom half of the table as Exeter Gently play Harpins Boys, LEX FC play the in form Ay Bird FC, CC Cosmos meet CYPS and The Chaps play undefeated Is Your Motherwell. ASE FC will be looking to continue their high scoring exploits against Always On Top, whilst E Block will be looking to bounce back from their meeting with ASE against NTU ISOC. The final two games of the day will see two 100% records ended. First 5 Elite and Inter de Nott, the only two teams with three wins out of three, meet before Cheers United and Real Sosobad fight it out to pick up their first points of the season.
