Summary of the action from Week 12 of the LIGA 11-A-Side Leagues

Week 12 of the LIGA saw decisive results at the top of all three of NTU's leagues, with 26 goals being scored in the five games that were played.

LIGA A featured the meeting of Quantity Surville & Mathematic Bilbao, with both holding undefeated records since the leagues commenced in October. Quantity Surville gained the upper hand in the first half, going into the break 2-0 ahead, and extended their lead early in the second. However, Maths came back strongly in the last quarter of the game and two goals in the last 10 minutes meant that the game finished nervily for Quantity, but they hung on to move three points clear at the top of the league.

The second LIGA A game of the day also featured a comeback as ACS FC met BSOC All Stars. BSOC took full advantage of ACS missing players in key areas to race into a 4-1 lead at half time. ACS came back strongly in the second half though, pulling a goal back 20 minutes remaining, a second with ten to go, and getting an overwhelmingly celebrated equalizer in the last two minutes to leave the final score 4-4.

LIGA B saw a top of the table clash between FC Futsal and Kings Of Leon Osman, with both teams having undefeated records since the January league split. KOLO took a 2-0 into the second half and were able to protect through to the end of the game.

There was also a bottom of the table clash in LIGA B as Bayer Lexerkusen and Table Tennis Society met for the second time this season. Last time they met Table Tennis came out 3-2 winners, and went into the game confident following last week's impressive 5-2 win over Average Joe's. However, Lex held firm an actually took the lead midway through the second half, only for Table Tennis to score a late equaliser and leave the final score 1-1.

The third game in LIGA B, between Average Joe's and Red Stripe Belgrade, was a see-saw goalfest. The teams matched each other goal for goal throughout the entire 90 minutes, until with just 30 seconds to go Average Joe's scored an extremely late winner to see the game finish 5-4 in their favor.

LIGA C saw no games played this week as Dynamo Chicken Kiev were forced to concede their match against History Society Football Club, due to insufficient available players.

Next week sees seven games scheduled to take place across the three LIGA's. In LIGA A , BSOC Bulldogz return to action against table topping Quantity Surville knowing that they need at least a point to keep their title aspirations alive. Quantity Surville will be looking to pick up a win themselves though in the knowledge that doing so would give them the league title with one game to go in their first season in the league. In LIGA A's second game ACS face Brack City, with ACS going into the game knowing that a slip up from Quantity Surville and a win on their part will also see them still in the title chase.

LIGA B's fixtures new table toppers Kings Of Leon Osman take on Average Joe's for the second time this year knowing that a win would all but secure them a top two finish and a promotion spot into LIGA A next season. FC Futsal will be looking to return to winning ways and keep up the pressure at the top when they meet Table Tennis Society, whilst bottom two Red Stripe Belgrade and Bayer Lexerkusen face off looking to avoid the end of season wooden spoon.

In LIGA C History Society Football Club will be looking to move clear at the top when they meet Bayer Neverloosen, whilst Dynamo Chicken Kiev will simply be looking to field a full team when they meet AFC Botton for the second time this season.
