Summary of the action from Week 13 of NTU's Serie 6-a-side competition

Week 13 of the Serie saw only one side improve their ranking in the league, but despite this each of the results had a profound effect on the table as a whole.

At 4pm Schneefers continued to drag themselves back up the table, with their dramatic late 4-2 over Ale Madrid mving them to within two points of the top half of the table. Only one of the 4.40 games took place as Portugeezers were forced to award Barlows Big Boys a walkover due to university workloads. This result handed Barlows a move up the table, leaving them in seventh and level on points with sixth at the end of the day.

The reason for them going joint with sixth happened in 4.40's other match. Globo Gym Purple Cobras started brightly against And The Winners are, and looked like causing a major upset with the scores being level at 1-1 with just minutes to go. However, two late goals by the redoubtable Winners gave them their first win in three games and kept them at the top of the Serie table.

The top billed game of the day between Tekkerslovakia and Is Your Motherwell provided the contest and the drama expected if not the number of goals. As with Motherwell's last game against And The Winners Are strong defence and wasteful attempts on goal were the main talking points of the game. However, Motherwell always looked the strongest of the two sides and, with one minute left on the clock, were able to snatch a late winner to close the gap on their opponents in the battle for third place in the table.

Week 14 in the Serie should see every team in the league in action for the first time in three weeks. Tekkerslovakia have the highest workload of the day, playing both Borussia Teeth and Portugeezers.
