Mere Town began their campaign in Division 1 with a 6-2 home win against Bournemouth Development. Sam Patterson scored a brace for Mere and Jacob Reid, Daniel Ness, George Kimber and Will Mogridge all scored one goal each. Blandford Utd Reserves recorded a 5-1 away win at Sturminster Newton Reserves. Darren Spiller was on target for Stur. Newton. Portland Panthers started life in Division 1 with a 4-0 away win at Wareham Rangers. Nathan Rideout scored a brace for Milborne Port as they won 3-1 at home to Parley FC. Josh Gear was also on target for them. Maiden Newton hosted Beaminster and won 2-1 with goals from Carl Hopkins and Connor Haime.
