Important announcments:

We have now received 4 letters from clubs intending to resign from the league: Rovers Quoit FC, South Durham Social Club FC, Manor Mowbray FC and The Lodge Bar FC. Only 1 application for a new team has been received to date. Clubs are reminded that the deadline for submitting resignation letters is Saturday 7th May and applications for new teams must be received by Sunday 15th May.

The League wishes to issue the following statement: As of Wednesday 4th May, Glenn Thompson is no longer Honorary President of the League, we thank him for his assistance and support since taking up the post. No further comment will be made on this matter.

The Blackhall Hardwick v Avenue game on 21st February has been declared null & void. No points will be issued to either club. Both clubs have been dealt with by the committee for providing a false result and team sheets. Avenue have also been fined and had 3 points deducted for failing to fulfil the fixture due to being unable to field a team.

The abandoned games from 3rd April between Avenue FC & Rovers Quoit FC and The Central FC & Stranton Social FC will not be rescheduled. In accordance with our rules, the points for both games have been awarded to the clubs not in default. Therefore Avenue FC & The Central FC have been awarded the win.

Avenue FC have been fined and had 3 points deducted for failing to fulfil the fixture against Throston Wanderers FC on April 28th, due to being unable to field a team. The game has been rescheduled for Sunday 22nd May.
