Danbury Mission continued where they left off after starting the defense of their title with a superb 8-1 victory over Baddow Parish.

After securing the 2014-15 title with a record points tally, Danbury made sure their rivals know snatching the crown from them will be a tough ask after a stunning second half performance on Saturday at Melbourne Park.
Danbury has to wait a little while to take the lead but after approximately 25 minutes, an Alex Stechman through ball found Michael Packham with space to drive forward and tuck the ball into the net. Although Danbury dominated the first half, their passing was a little rusty and it took time to get into their stride. A route one ball from baddow hit Danbury on the counter and caught the defence unaware to level things at 1-1. But within 5 minutes, Danbury were ahead again through a coolly placed Joe Playle penalty after a hand ball in the box, and never looked back.
After the break, both Packham and Playle added another goal each, Rhys Williams grabbed a brace, Jamie Crane scored the goal of the game with a thirty yard screamer and Rob Lee grabbed a debut goal.

Danbury secured last seasons title with a club record goals tally for the season and have started this one looking to break it once again.
