Mid - Table clash between 2 sides that can't be divided.

At 12.45pm on a sunny day at Hackney Marshes, Centre Academy kicked off in their mid-table clash with Haggerston Park in their nine-a-side league fixture.

Haggerston were the side who started the game the more determined taking the lead with a shot from outside the box, however the shot went just past the post.

They soon had another chance created from a long ball which forced the Centre Academy keeper into making a save.

Centre Academy had a corner which led to a free-header however it was placed wide.
Haggerston continued with their attacks, however they were wasteful with their chances.

On the 14th minute Centre Academy took the lead after a mix up at the back allowed their forward to tap into an empty net. However their lead did not last long with Haggerston equalising through a scrappy goal from a corner.

Haggerston's winger was making progress on the left, getting round the back on numerous occasions. They wasted a great opportunity from a shot inside the box to put them in front just before half-time.

The half-time score was 1-1.

Haggerston started the second half brightly hitting the post early on and took the lead on the 37th minute through a great solo effort from their winger.

Centre Academy showed great character to keep fighting as they forced the Haggerston keeper into another save.

As the game progressed Haggerston were forced to take shots from long range which did not test their opposition’s keeper.

Then a long ball forward put a Centre Academy forward through on goal who scored superbly with a lobbed shot.

Haggerston continued to waste their chances while their keeper was forced to make a fine save to keep the scores level at the end.

The game finished 2-2 which was a fair result
