VACANCIES: Roles Available For 2017/18

Durham Women FC are hiring for two paid match-day positions ahead of the 2017/18 season.

We pride ourselves on delivering an excellent match day experience to all spectators, and in order to continue providing that we're looking to recruit some new members of match day staff.

The roles available are detailed below:

Turnstile Operator x2

The turnstile operators are the first face our supporters meet at our games and a vital part of delivering the warm welcome we have become renowned for.

Your duties will include selling tickets, checking season tickets and online tickets, and answering any queries that supporters may have as they enter the game.

You will also be expected to handle cash and complete paperwork in regards to attendance tracking, and you will report to the Club Secretary and Marketing Officer on match day.

Trustworthy individuals are required, as well as someone with a positive and upbeat attitude who is capable of delivering a welcoming atmosphere.

You will be expected to work all home games (Sunday afternoons and Thursday evenings) and be present from two hours before kick-off.

Salary dependent on experience.

Junior Club Liaison Officer

We regularly work with local junior clubs, both as part of our FA WSL Sister Club Programme and in other areas, and we invite them down to our games throughout the season.

To ensure they receive an excellent standard of care, we're looking to recruit a Junior Club Liaison Officer to work with junior teams throughout the season.

Reporting to the Club Secretary and Marketing Officer, you will be expected to welcome junior clubs and supervise them throughout their day with us - from activities indoors to ensuring they are ready to walk out with the players or form a guard of honour.

Someone with a positive attitude is required, and previous experience of working with children would be preferred but not essential.

You will be expected to work all home games (Sunday afternoons and Thursday evenings) and be present from three hours before kick-off.

Salary dependent on experience.
