HEPPLE: "A Huge Three Points"
Beth Hepple claimed every member of her side 'stepped-up' to help secure a 'huge' three points at London Bees.
Hepple netted a fine free-kick either side of strikes from Sarah Robson and Emily Roberts to help secure the three points in a 3-1 win at The Hive.
And the midfielder said the three points were massive ahead of facing the league's top two teams in the space of four days.
Here's Hepple's full thoughts on the game:
Hepple on the three points gained...
"I think it's been a long couple of weeks on international break and we just wanted to get back playing.
"Today was a massive game. London Bees are a very good team and they've been doing well recently.
"It's a huge three points at the start of a tough week so we're delighted."
Hepple on her first half goal...
"Em (Roberts) grafted, bless her, dribbling as per usual and got the free-kick.
"It was just in the right place and went in!"
Hepple on the Wildcats' desire to bounce back from a disappointing draw with Oxford...
"I think that showed today.
"We were back to what we're known as, every single person stepped up today.
"Lee (Sanders, manager) said before the game that we needed eleven captains on the pitch and that's what we got.
"The people coming off the bench were absolutely class and made an impact on the game.
"Everybody fought for each other which was important and that's such a big part of this team.
"Getting that back is such a big confidence boost going into two really big games this week."
Hepple on the fine football displayed in the third goal...
"It was me, Zoe (Ness) and Em linking up and we know we can do that.
"As soon as we get the ball down on the floor we are capable.
"It's really good to put it into practice because we do it week in, week out at training."
Hepple ahead of facing Doncaster on Thursday night...
"Doncaster is always a tough place to go but we competed in the last game with them.
"We were 1-0 up and it was a close game.
"We've got nothing to lose at the end of the day and the pressure is on them, so it'll be a good game."
