In a feature originally published in our Match Day Programme against Sheffield FC, we get to know Beth Hepple a bit better!

The regular series will see a different member of the Wildcats' squad tell us a little bit about themselves - on and off the pitch.

After speaking to Sarah Wilson last time out, this time we put our questions to Beth Hepple...

Talk us through your footballing debut.

My debut for Durham at senior level would have been in the Northern Combination league - I think it might have been against Huddersfield? The first WSL game was against Sunderland, though. We got beat 4-2.

What do you do on a long away trip?

Spend a lot of quality time with the other girls! It’s a good social opportunity to spend time with everyone else. We play a bit of music and just chat.

What’s the best live concert you’ve ever been to?

Beyonce. Hands down. It has to be.

If you’re going to treat yourself to a takeaway, what do you have?

I do love a good pizza, so probably a Dominos.

What’s the best place you’ve ever been on holiday?

Probably New York, I loved it there.

Where in the world haven’t you been, but would like to go?

I’ve been to America loads of times, but I’d love to do a tour across it and visit loads of places that you wouldn’t usually go to.

What’s your favourtie film?

For a comedy, it has to be Bridesmaids because I literally know every word in that film! Maybe Matilda or something, I love that.

What’s your favourite song of all time?

Probably Beyonce - Crazy in Love.

Who would you trust with a secret in the dressing room?

Probably Wills (Sarah Wilson) - I could tell her something

What’s the best ground you’ve ever played at?

Manchester City’s ground. Donny’s is quite good as well, but Man City is just incredible.

Who’s the best player you’ve played with?

I’ve never actually thought about this! Probably Sarah McFadden because she’s so strong and can control and change a game.

Who’s the funniest person in the squad?

Apart from me obviously, Aldo (Helen Alderson) has her

moments. Everyone laughs at her!

You’re trapped on a dessert island and can take only three items - what would you take and why?

A football so I can play a bit, my phone and probably my hair brush.

What three words would you use to describe yourself?

Competitive, relaxed and driven.

What three words would you use to describe Lee Sanders?

Firm, dedicated and driven.
